May's prettiest bride

Our niece Charity got married on May 17th in the Columbia Temple and then we went to her great Backyard BBQ reception! It was so fun for me to get to fix her gorgeous long thick hair into tons of spiral curls. Terry could hardly believe that was her little country girl! Take a look and you will agree she was the prettiest princess in all of Flotown......

" Domestic Diva"

Kristen and Jared bought me the coolest apron that is so perfect for me. Across the front it says "Domestic Diva" ! It is so pretty I don't won't to spill anything on it. I wore it today and loved looking so prissy as I cooked Sunday Dinner. My favorite color too. Thanks, Jared and Kristen for finding me such a useful and fancy gift.......I am now cooking in style!!!!

Happy Mother's Day

I wanted to thank my precious children for the beautiful gifts they showered me with. Beth gave me a new charm for my grandmother's bracelet of a little crown for my "3 little princess granddaughters" and is making me new scrapbook pages for my grandmother album. Jacob met us at the temple today and surprised me tonight with a beautiful picture he framed himself at Hobby Lobby. It is one of my favorite's from the scriptures of Jesus and the woman at the well. I think this one will go in my new bedroom. David gave me the biggest coolest card and my favorite candy- YUM! ( Jared and Kristen are waiting until next weekend when I see them.) The hi-light of my day will be when I get to talk to my Will so far away. I am so thankful to be a mother and grateful for the choice spirits Heavenly Father intrusted in my care.

One shopped out, one having fun!

I think I have absolutely exhausted Jerry in my date nights for the last few weeks as I have scouted every appliance store and furniture store in the area and surrounding areas looking for the perfect items for our new house. I have to mull and think and compare prices and then I think a little more and eventually I finally decide!!! Remember it has taken me a year to pick a house. ( I know what Jean and Jacob are thinking....that is too much pondering. I bet they are saying: just buy it!!)

Jerry never reads the blog so I will include a photo of how zapped he is this evening. ( He didn't even budge when I took this photo.) Oh, I think he was a little more thrilled on the shopping trip last week when we went to pick out a flat screen TV. Does that surprise anyone?
