Mother's Day weekend

The weather was great for the weekend. It was just a beautiful day at the beach. Chloe loved every minute of it.
My new umbrella from Jared and Kristen. Now everyone can come play in the sand and stay cool.
Kristen and Chloe ready to play in the sand.
Nothing like watching the waves.
Chloe didn't seem to mind the freezing water. She kept going back for more!
She was the only one of us brave enough to get soaked.
Chloe liked the water better than playing in the sand. She
was tring to figure out how to get it off her hands.
I forgot to take pics of everyone in their Sunday best but I did get Will and David to take one with me since it was Mother's Day. Will just got glasses.
David is almost the tallest my children. We will have to see if he passes Jared.

Spring at last

So happy that spring break brought nice sunny weather. Mom came down to help me watch my Bailey grands while Beth and Rob and David took a trip to Utah. We had fun in the sun at the beach, played in the pool, watched Tangled over and over and danced, shopped, dyed Easter eggs, enjoyed rocking on the porch and having Libbi and her twins come down and play.

Alee loved wearing my pink cap. ( Her mom said she has never liked hats so I guess she discovered they really are great for those sunny beach visits.)
Kaitlyn would stay at the beach all day and never go home. She loves the ocean and the sand and everything about the beach! A southern little lady for sure:)
Grandma loved the water as much as the children. She was a great Lifeguard. No one was allowed past her in the ocean.
A quick photo before washing all the sand away. The girls loved their princess night gowns that the Easter bunny delivered a few days early.
Grandma and her grands and great grands enjoyed the pool. I better get busy rubbing on my tan so I won't look so pale next to my sister who had already visited her tanning salon. Connor stops to give his Mom a hug and let Aunt Kim get a photo

Sarah Beth and Carolyn were our little Easter Egg artists. The boys liked to mix theirs in several colors. As usual the fun times go by fast but the memories bring smiles forever!
