Fun with Shug and Trish

Saturday evening Shug wanted to treat us to seafood so we headed to Calabash. Trish and David and me checked out the fishing boats before going in to eat Seafood.

I just had to ask the fisherman of these boats where they were from after seeing the names of their boats.

We decided that Jerry and Shug needed to come take a look so we dragged them down to the dock.

I don't think they were quite as thrilled about it as we were. Shug was too busy trying out some homemade butter mints. ( They were good.)

Lastly, before retiring to bed. Jerry decided to read Shug and Trish a bedtime story. He pulled out his Korean Father's day gift from Jared some years ago. A Korean children's book entitled
" Who pooped on my head". Looks like it was enjoyed by all!

New treasure

Jerry and I went for a walk on Monday evening on the beach and I was so excited to find my first Sand dollar!

It is a small sand dollar, but fit nicely in one of my shell collection jars. I love walking on the beach and finding a new treasure made it extra fun this week.

Extended family fun

Saturday we all met in Florence for a baby shower for Charity. Fun to see cousins together again.

We enjoyed a short over night visit with Celeste and Spencer and girls.

Marissa and Adeline loved sleeping in the loft.

Adeline is a little night owl and decided to stay up and have a few snacks with Uncle Jerry in his chair. ( Wish I had taken a pic. She was so cute rocking with him) After some m&m's and a few bowl of snacks and cold milk she finally gave it up around 11 pm and went to sleep.

The girls liked a morning rock on the porch.

Just wouldn't do if Aunt Kim didn't get to fix "hair" pretty. . Marrisa thought everyone should see there cute ponytails.

Wish we all lived closer so we could get together more often. I am so glad we have continued to stay close through the years and share fun moments together.

Sweet Surprise!

Saturday we went to a wedding at the Temple and when we came out we had the best SURPRISE-Kristen and Jared brought Chloe to see Grammy and Granddaddy! They were all dressed up in Sunday best.

I wanted to take her home with me.

Her smile just melted our heart.
