Birthday weekend for Beth

Beth and family came for her birthday weekend. Her and Rob had a date night on Friday.  For Saturday she requested a relaxing day at home, so we delivered!  Just hung out, played games, rested, enjoyed a big dinner with her favorite cake and then the girls had some ideas of their own.

... and then on to our personal hair salon by the Bailey girls!

Carolyn was my first hair stylist and she gave me a fish tale braid with a polka dot bow accent:)

Alee decided I needed some straightener treatment!

Kaitlyn gave Natalie a cute twist.

Then Natalie had a turn as stylist

Carolyn gave her Mom some nice braids

Then Carolyn decided Kaitlyn needed a french braid

and the finished product was rather cute!

We all decide that the best do of the day was performed by Alee with some added assistant from Kaitlyn.  Grandaddy received the "GRAND DO" and was such a good sport!
Looks like Jerry just sprouted some new locks:)  Maybe that should be his 4th of July look- with all those silver sparklers!

Poor Seth was under the weather and spend the entire weekend in bed :(.
He can smile through the worst of days though!  Such a sweet guy.

The beautiful Sunday weather made us think Spring had arrived early! The warm sun felt so nice as we headed into Church.

Grateful for such a wonderful daughter and that we could enjoy her birthday with her this year!

Twins weekend with Grammy and Grandaddy.
It just so happened to be Valentine's weekend so we started out with a little valentine goodie.
Their favorite candy treat.

Royal attire for my weekend guest.

Princesses need to see the full view!
( Looks like Grammy needs to invest in a full length mirror for all her Grand princesses to enjoy.)

Morning monkey bread bakers.

Perfect weekend for some heart shaped breakfast:)

Enjoying big breakfast:)

On to the outlet for stops at their favorite stores.

Disney princess dolls are always a hit.

So many choices in one store!  (The jewelry selection took lots of time...
but they finally decided on some matching anchor earrings to wear at
Uncle Will and Madyson's wedding in the spring.)

Successful shopping trip with prizes in hand.

Girls gotta have a little sparkle in their life!!
Teal sparkly nails for N

Pink Sparkles for K

Evening bakers busy making some fancy cupcakes.

Dividing the dough by 2....is a must with twins :)
They each made a dozen cupcakes.

Pretty girls all ready for church.
How blessed to have such beautiful grands!

Already a month into the new year.  WOW, how time moves swiftly by.  Winter is here but hopefully it will move by swiftly too so we can have warm and sunny days again!  Beach living is just more fun when all around is warm and we can walk on the sand and feel the ocean breeze.  Although, this past Christmas gave us a surprise- warm weather! All who visited got to enjoy the outdoors. The park and the beach made for some fun outings.  Frisbee, kite, football, bucket and shovel.  All our gear loaded and off we went for some adventure.
Ready for some more of these days....
